SA for dermatophytosis https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/35146982/
Protocol
- Acid salicyclic 4% (Sebcur)
- Ketoconazole 2% (Nizoral)
Method
- SA shampoo appears to be the winner and is a lot more efficient than azoles type anti-fungal agent.
Notes
- Antibiotics are not helpful to treat tinea-like fungal infection to the scalp !
- Tinea appears to be highly dependent on increased humidity level and lipid/glucose availability.
- We don't want chronic burdens, only experimental solutions that works.
Results
- Estimated clearance 80% (2026-02-03)
